Jan, that poem is sweet. I like the part that talks about your son playing as you sunbathe. I could picture a fun day at the beach. Evelyn

What loveliness! This permeates with a delicate soft music, which not only is heard, but seen and touched. I can just picture you in that moment/hour, feeling it, savoring it. Then , you set me there with you! Thank you! Best wishes for the contest!

Hi Jan. This brings back memories of my son digging in the damp sand. Spade heavy; took some shifting; he worked hard. Lovely memories of Scarborough beach. All the best. Tony x

My hubby purchased a 'trenching tool' and he and son would spend hours digging.. to be truthful I am not a beach person and definitely not a sunbather so there is a deal of poetic licence especially as my son isnt called Sam lol:-) hugs jan xx
