We paddle in the sea how it takes me back my own happy childhood days memory Sam digs damp sand I’ll sunbathe as my young son plays life’s grand! Hi Jan. This brings back memories of my son digging in the damp sand. Spade heavy; took some shifting; he worked hard. Lovely memories of Scarborough beach. All the best. Tony x

My hubby purchased a 'trenching tool' and he and son would spend hours digging.. to be truthful I am not a beach person and definitely not a sunbather so there is a deal of poetic licence especially as my son isnt called Sam lol:-) hugs jan xx
