A couple of Old Drips
A summer storm approaches so we take
shelter under my umbrella. Teeming
rain soaks our clothes and a tiny lake
forms under our rain boots. We start beaming
and jump in puddles like children. You make
me giggle as I see your eyes gleaming.
Now in our eighties, we don’t really care
what other folk think and if people stare!
