Summer Goodbye
Farewell summer, I bid goodbye
I’m ready for the open views
Through bare trees laced with crystal flakes
And snowcapped mountains in the sky
After fall spills all its color
Leaving me crisp, fresh air to breathe
I’m comforted by a warm fire
