Image result for mango trees on a beach

Sun glistens with brilliance on tropical seas. Under a palm tree we sit as a breeze Meanders the island, and ripened on trees, Mangoes are hanging – to pluck if we please! Enjoying nature, we are sun’s devotees Relaxing to beach songs, completely at ease. Date Written: March 31, 2019 For the 'Bite Size Poem no7' Poetry Contest of Line Gauthier

Clever monorhyme to be sure. Quite a tour de force wedging "devotees" in there. Kudos for that alone!

Ahhh! Now I long for the sea, a white beach, and something wonderful to drink with a pink umbrella in it. This carried me to a time when summers were heavenly... before the fires.

Andrea, rhyming this cheerful acrostic makes it seem like two forms in one. Brilliant! Are you sure you don't live in Hawaii? : ) Congratulations on being on the top of the list with your FIRST place win! xxoo

This one brings back fond memories. The accompanying foto looks similar to our friend's place in Bermuda where Vera and I spent many wonderful times lounging about back in the day! We met in Bermuda and it was one of our favorite vacation spots. BoB
