Stay Away From the Fire
Stay away from the fire, or you'll get burned:
Something to avoid at all costs and yet….
and YET…
Pain is a primal cry signaling that the fight for life has begun…
It reveals the presence of feelings
Of hopes and dreams
Of stagnant love bursting into streams
A sign of LIFE….LIFE and all it means
“Stay away from the fire, or you’ll get burned,”
Mama wisely said.
Oh, Mama…
I need to feel the pain to know that my stone cold heart is….
ALIVE!
