Starry Love
The seductive air criss-crossed through my hair
Not so cold , yet it sent shivers down my spine
It made forget what I was there for
Like I was drunk down a bottle of wine.
A million stars shone dimly above me
The dark night sky looked like a full tilt celebrity
The more I gazed the more I fell in love
The more I got drawn towards its sparkling beauty.
I looked in the direction of the wind
The moon tried to grab my attention shining over the mountains
The light only blinded me, I closed my eyes
For tonight the stars were my only companions.
Not a cloud in the sky dared to step in between
This place was where I belonged
I had searched my entire life for this attraction
For long this feeling I have longed.
This sweet charade lifted my soul
From the misery that laid below
I wish I could make people feel what I feel
How it turned me around when I felt low.
It was more than just the view that got me
The aura of the moment seemed so right
The dim light of the stars guide me through
As I try to immortalize the essence of the night.
