Springtime To My Heart

~ A chilly morning greets me as frost makes its debut The distant sky still sleeping so dark this frozen view A frigid breeze now blowing while shivers fill the air The barren landscape slumbers in dreams of summer fair I gaze to the horizon as autumn bids farewell No cheerful sun arising this cold December spell Though still I feel a warming as winter breathes its start For merely just the thought of you brings springtime to my heart ~
