Springtime Arrives In Glory
The tender ivory snow begins to melt,
Springtime is just around the corner.
Seedlings are sprouting into chartreuse
roots and buds of tulips are blossoming.
It’s the departure of cold, the way it felt-
The scent of fresh air in my welcoming lungs.
The cool crisp reverie is cascading below
and the marvel in each ripple begins to flow
through my ardor and meek veins.
Sincerity comes in all forms of light.
It seeks not the summer, nor looks
for the heated days where mere sight
is encompassed by the overbearing fervor
of the sun. No, mother nature rests her
beauty only found in the gaiety of Spring.
Kites are flown, I hear the church bells ring-
My eyes are set on the Vernal Equinox moon,
the resounding vibrations in a Cardinal’s tune.
Springtime has arrived in a kaleidoscope of
colors. I shall bask in its eagerness and amenity.
