Spring's Here

Today Hurrah! Grass green is seen. Warm breeze wafts trees. Each tree pretty. Plum’s hue I view. My Pear* is fair - Sweet sight in white. Each thing blooming. God’s plan for man. Spring’s here. It’s clear. *Note: Pear, as well as Plum, refer to the type of trees in my front yard Written April 4/ the day the trees all over my neighborhood came alive with color this year. In Spring, but closer to Summer,I discover plants that I had planted the Previous Spring - I had completely forgotten and overnight pansies start popping up and budding in the most beautiful colors, hardy little flowers which can even withstand frost, not black frost though. Good luck in the contest. Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.

Reads like a good contender to me in Brian's contest. Way to go. It is so amazing when they all come to life and add so much color and beauty to the area. I imagine this rain we are having will take most of the blossoms down here and we will be seeing so many shades of green that adds another dimension to the forest and woods. I enjoyed reading this one. Very creative. Sara

Footle is not my favorite type of poem, but you conveyed your message perfectly. Spring will always be my favorite season. You described it so well. Hugs.

Love it. You have a gift for these, Andrea. My thinking runs too much to wordiness to be very good at Footles.
