Spring's Here
Today
Hurrah!
Grass green
is seen.
Warm breeze
wafts trees.
Each tree
pretty.
Plum’s hue
I view.
My Pear*
is fair -
Sweet sight
in white.
Each thing
blooming.
God’s plan
for man.
Spring’s here.
It’s clear.
*Note: Pear, as well as Plum, refer to the type of trees in my front yard
Written April 4/ the day the trees all over my neighborhood came alive with color this year.
