Spring Melody

The air can be crisp A steady wind keeps blowing Whipping my hair all about Life is being shown Buds growing, grass coming up There’s a distinct smell of growth The air is carrying the storms with it Birds sweetly chirping up high The heart and soul of Spring

Ah, if you lived in Florida, you'd see, hear and smell these things year-round, Russell. I like the way you combined two forms and painted such a vvit picture of spring. Wishing you success in the contest! Love, Carolyn
