From far I hear a robin merrily sing
It announces the arrival of spring
Singing of a glory reborn, that was lost,
It awakens a world blanketed in frost
Amber sunbeams fall straight and bright
Migrant birds have begun to alight
On the skyline is the V formation of geese
Trees are seen in fresh burgeoning leaves
Earth seems waking up from a long slumber
Everything changing into a pleasant wonder
Before the eyes, stretches a vast green terrain
Hurray! Happy spring is here once again
