I decided seeing the bats is a spring thing because twilight in the UK is timed just nicely for viewing them and I saw them and wrote this poem. I might fail on the spring association though but I was getting nowhere with birds lol

We saw them in a twilight visit to the park Lin but have a few visible in the trees from our garden too... I'm not afraid of bats (although I googled 'bat faces' to show my daughter they were cute and that was a bit hit and miss haha). They are lovely to watch. This evening from a roundabout but others on the hammock at home :)
