Spirit of Autumn
Autumn is a time to reset your life,
to take moments to view the falling leaves;
to let go of grief that stabs like a knife,
oh, love the tapestry that Autumn weaves.
Hear a fallen leaf that whispers and heaves,
the leaf floor takes me to another time;
when my love and I walked in the sublime.
took road trips to view all the lovely hues.
Autumn breezes make my memories chime,
as withered red and gold speaks to my muse.
