Soup of the Day
Returning to my mirror of thought’s
Bringing back this time of loss
Let me reflect those images lost
I once was young reading Robert Frost
Words entering my inward thought’s
Then poetry entered into my mind
I must write so I did over time
This game of scrabble twisting and turning
Placing words together and learning
Then soup came along giving me yearning
Accepting me as if, I have always belonged
With comments and gentleness
They have become my family, they are
Soul Capturing friend by friend
With this love of poetry in common
They have become my Soup of the Day
