Sorry, I'M Closed

You never had the time, so you would always window shop. You always came to window shop. Stores have the best things hanging in the windows, promoting itself with bargains and deals in order to attract any customer that passed by. One day, you finally came inside. You looked around and saw the different colors and fabrics that each article of clothing had to offer. The store began to consider you a regular and was happy to see that you returned. After inspecting and getting to know everything the store contained, You walked into my fitting room to see if anything could appeal to you. You slid on each piece seeing how it would fit or compliment you. Minutes passed and the curtain stayed closed. You threw everything into the return pile and walked out of the store. The clothing that laid there was stained. Your scent and the fingerprints you left behind would become apart of the clothing that sat inside. I wanted to put them on the sale rack but they ended up in storage. You were no longer a regular. Weeks went by. The store was empty. So it closed.

Thank you so much! The only problem was that the first part of the poem was left out: I am like a store. My words, emotions, complaints, are the clothing on the inside hanging on racks and laid out on display.
