Snowflakes Falling
the snow has fallen all through the night
and I wake to a winter wonderland, bright, crisp and white
all the trees are wearing snow gowns, and
I must, must be outside . . .
and when I step out into the falling snow I sigh with delight
'till suddenly a cold north wind roars and howls, and
takes my hat and pulls my hair . . .
but whatever- I just keep walking with snowflakes falling
