Snapping Peas

She snapped peas all summer until sundown when wind sang through the oaks-- hoping he would return-- yellow ribbon, and all. She loved him always, yellow ribbon, and all. Hoping he would return when wind sang through the oaks, all summer until sundown she snapped peas. (A mirror poem)

Lovely writing, Carol. I could picture it so well...and, I wondered if he did return. Makes for a wonderful poem.
