Slumber's Lullaby--A Pantoum
Our world at twilight is like silken lace
imbued with a grandeur of a kismet ,
pressed by a mint breeze to warm an embrace
awaiting votive candles to be set.
Imbued with a grandeur of a kismet
in tints of evening, in amber, and pine,
awaiting votive candles to be set
when hours lullaby the moon, we entwine.
In tints of evening, in amber, and pine,
and sweet murmurs unfurl these restful wings;
when hours lullaby the moon, we entwine
to cuddle gratitude that soft kiss brings.
And sweet murmurs unfurl these restful wings
pressed by a mint breeze to warm an embrace,
to cuddle gratitude that soft kiss brings.
Our world at twilight is like silken lace.
