There is something truly wonderful and sublime,
with poetry written by a years skilled writer;
these writers in time have written amazing poems,
or perhaps only started when senior.
These skilled writers know the worth of writing,
about their life, the memories, grief and joy;
they see the beauty in nature and value it,
can write from a place deep within.
With a passion they write of agony and rapture,
their words murmur, and weep or loudly roar;
they have experience in feelings and love,
oh, the recollections and reflections.
Age skilled writers are quick to encourage others,
to give advice, encouragement and suggestions;
they have the wisdom, knowledge and poise.
and come from a place of enlightenment.
Their poetry is the personal gift they give to us,
poems left on pages act as inspiration for all;
the words penned over years never fade in time,
a legacy and a retrospection of them.
