Since God Made Us All

Human rights are everyone’s rights Regardless of nationality, race, sex, or creed, Since they are God-given the moment we are born It is essential we honor them with all due speed To be prejudiced toward another human being Is a violation of God’s holy law, Since God made us all! Human rights are the greatest gift Bestowed upon human beings of all races and creeds, And we all need to be mindful of our brotherhood Especially since all of us have the same essential needs To experience love, peace, joy, and acceptance Is commanded by God’s holy law Since God made us all! Human rights are basic to the good life Wherever we find ourselves living on this earth, And knowing we are all the products of our ancestors We must accept that everyone is special from birth All our faith traditions teach us that we are created To obey God’s holy law, Since God made us all! I shall print this onto t-shirts and try to sell them, but unfortunately, I have a feeling many people want to retain their prejudices. "To be prejudiced toward another human being Is a violation of God’s holy law, Since God made us all!"

Indeed it is! And, of course, you are are absolutely correct. Many people relish their prejudices. Oh, well...I'm getting too old to worry about "other" people. I know what I believe, what I feel, and I'm going to stick by it!

My dear, Valsa, there is no such thing as "a share of rights!" Until all of us enjoy ALL of our God-given human rights, then none of us truly have what is rightfully ours. Of course, it is a dream...but let's dream big! I want every person in the world to have all of their God-given human rights!
