Silence For Whispers
traded SILENCE for WHISPERS to fear not my fate-
subdued in a room with walls mirrored, slanted
just enough for me to peek at ALL my FLAWS;
and in EACH breath my eyes inhale defects my
mind embraces (lungs e x h a l i n g hope…)
no longer will I enter rooms that REFLECT a tomb
"for I am lost-
longing to be found without fear"
