Shoreline Magic -- Summer Love
Shoreline magic bound them fast together
Flaring lights from late-night windows
Twinkling on water's smooth glass surface
Kisses linger ~ Cupid's purposed passion
Holding hands, sashaying 'neath the boardwalk
Barefoot breezes singing, gently probing
Lovers' thrilling touches - 'lectric - searching
Hidden curves now yielding to their yearning
************
Days and weeks and months sail on by them
Summer drifts past cool late-August morns
Autumn's coming: Cruelest blow to lovers
Chill winds rend their weeping heartstrings torn
Magic's now retreated from the shoreline
~ Kisses taken refuge amidst storms
