Notes About The Poem

She's Barking Mad

Sue’s puppy is called Tricky Woo She’s upset when it does a pooh There’s pee up the wall And poop in the hall She always finding doggy dooh I suggested she buys a grit tray And takes Tricky a walk every day He can play in the park Do its poop, have a bark But someone should take Tricky away! A puppy’s not right for her flat Perhaps she should have got a cat Not a hulking huge hound From the local dog pound Now why didn’t Sue think of that! LOL, this reminds me of a friend who once had a dog in his flat - he (the dog) pooped on the floor during a party & Brian covered the steaming pile with a newspaper...

Bully for you Jan! AFV videos convinced me nothing could be worse than a dog in the house! The only animals my grandfather allowed in the house were those on the menu, so I am biased, but the majority of dog owners are rather loath to clean up after their pet or hush the insane barking! Aloha! Rico

Jan, what a fun poem for a funny picture! Poor Sue, that dog pooh must be as big as her leg! I grew up next door to a St. Bernard and we could never play in their back yard because of guess what? More poop than grass, haha! You nailed this one - love the title too. Great to have you back in Poohville! ~ John

hmmm what a visual you've created in Sue's hall! She'd need a shovel instead of a poop scooper for that monstrous pooch.

Makes me so glad we had a cat when i was growing up then deal with the mess themselves, took years to discover the reason i got wheezy was due to fur !:-) hugs jan xx

Holy Neopolitan Mastiff! That guy is HUGE!!!! Fun poem Jan! I have been in the biz of dog care for 20 years, have not had a mastiff. I do love big dogs. I say, the difference between big dogs and little dogs is the owners. Hugs! xomo

You may have liked my first dog. She was very cat-like, un-doglike in all the ways I liked, sworn cat people liked her. But, oh lord, the fur ;),
