She nonchalantly slipped out of the bar
hightailing it in a furtive manner.
Yet, anxiety stopped her not too far
where she vomited behind an old banner.
Her new husband, a strict Ascetic Jew
thought he saw a glimpse of her and stormed in.
And ducking out, seemed the right thing to do,
before he caught her indulging in sin.
After a deep dive in a shallow pool
the adrenaline left her heart reeling.
For he’d trailed her, he was nobody's fool
and his guile gave her a queasy feeling.
She didn’t deny, she took him to bed
and convinced him...she’s a good girl, instead.
