She Loves Me, She Loves
I love,I loved my sweetheart's beauty,fair
Nightly,my passionate heart did declare,
Dazzled by smiling eyes,I was possessed
Inside,unchecked,a raging fire,obsessed;
Such anguish in me,she did arouse
Her words of rejection,my ardour doused,
Images burned and time would not erase
Upon her sweet face,I still longed to gaze:
Crushed on emotion's merry-go-round
Into depths of despair,my hopes were ground,
Until destiny's dance began to play
A chance encounter fêted me that day.
We cuddled,kissed and kissed again
To our signature ,love refrain.
