She Knows Me

Yes, she knows me, she’s known me from the start Soulmates throughout eternity, she knows me in her heart She knows the words my heart would say And knows the thoughts I think each day She sees my smile and knows its cause And feels my love without a pause She knows the joy that we feel When once again we’ve topped a hill And all the love when we embrace When we have finished a 5K race She knows I love her for her mind Unique, intelligent, the creative kind I promised a life of love and adventure But that first kiss of her hand was the heart-melding clincher

Thanks David, I was led to my one-in-a-million type woman. It was a miracle the two of us ever met. Being 7 years older made it unlikely, but we were so different on the outside; it was miraculous out spirits brought us together. Another poem prompt. lol Thanks for the comment, my friend. Bill

Awwwn my favourite poetic couple!!! So cute! And so sweet this made my soul warm reading such beautiful romantic sentiments expressed in such a seamless manner. How adorable! You both sound like you’ve experienced so much together seen so much and grew old together and are still in love and how sweet you remember that moment , that first kiss on her hand. It will be 41 years on April 30, 2024. Life together has been one continuous adventure, Empress. We have been blessed to share many experiences together, both highs and lows ... we're thankful for them all. Thanks for the visits and comments our poet friend from Maldives. :-)
