SEPTEMBER FALLS

S- sweet and somber is the September breeze
E- energizes the mind and elevates the heart
P- pageant of colors appear as autumn comes to seize
T- temperate turns the weather, as heat does depart.

E- evening sunsets are a beauty to behold
M- making the sky a canvas of colors
B- bringing forth pleasant vistas that unfold
E-each change, giving a promise of bliss that hovers.

R- rustling leaves make a symphony sweet
F- fading beams slant as the sun goes under cover
A- amber steals the show with no other shade to compete
L- lingering warmth gives an occasional feel of summer.

L- leaves gently fall making the ground a mosaic carpet.
S- signs of harvest is glimpsed as berries turn scarlet.

Dearest Valsa, poetess extraordinaire, the finesse of your golden pen captures the character, beauty, serenity and vibrant energy of September with vivid imagery. Dear sweet valsa! I absolutely love this acrostic sonnet! The way youv painted imagery throughout is so breathtaking and left me in awe! I can see through your words, the mosaic carpet etc! I especially love the lines “ E- evening sunsets are a beauty to behold M- making the sky a canvas of colors” sunsets are my fave! And colors of sunset truly somehow gives me hope, wherever i go i chase sunsets! I remember some beautiful ones i did capture in India too, in kovalam beach. Your acrostic, i think andrea Will truly love this! And your rhymes and cadence of your words truly is catchy! Pleasure reading this gem! A fave again! Sending you light always

Every season has its attractions, but I, too, love Autumn best, with its cool breezes, the lovely sun rises and sets, and the changing colours of leaves. You captured the September rendering fascinating, dear Valsa

An Astounding write Valsa - and so well crafted - it's deserving of a win in the contest, all the Best. Here in Australia where all the seasons are 'Back to Front', we have now entered spring and then prepare for the hot months in December. Hugs Maria

Good one describing the beauty of fall. Some years the colors are glorious, but it takes a combination of the right amount of rain, nighttime chill and warm days to create what seems to be a perfect fall. This year the end of summer has been so dry in our area that they leaves are turning brown and falling off. Thanks for sharing your talent with us. Sara K
