Separation

Person of my past Has come back to me But with a cost Memories flooded And dissolving me I am in pain But she still talks Seemingly unnoticed To my emotions I stand in fear Of her steady words Where will they lead To the reason Of our eventual Separation… The pain still hurts I must tell her Goodbye Russell Sivey Entrant into Debbie Guzzi's "Let's Get Serious" contest 9/3/2012

Russell, can't tell u how amused I am with reading this..my twisted mind wants you to make this a shape poem in the form of a daggar!!! hahahaha...I know I know,...I am just not RIGHT in the head! hahah...wonderful theme and powerful how GOODBYE came up as the final word....all alone on the last line...busy busy today with Gabby's baby shower preparations...will be back to continue on my Sivey Poetry Quest another day!
