On a mound in a valley A beautiful Orchid is in bloom Her lovely petals unfurling As she reaches for the Moon Dew drops sparkle on her bare petals Feathery strokes feel like the breath of winds Her goblet drips with nectar This is where life begins Like bees to a honey pot Opened petals now to greet Natural rhythm so in tune The intensity to meet Her languid smile – her fulfillment Heavens approve from above Now beautifully satiated This is the gift of love

Sensual nature of a sensitive (an sensual wonderful face) changed me in a butterfly happy to stop and caress each verse you wrote with much talent. Second nature is the habit improved in attempt to have care of our thoughts, our words and acts. A good balance of each petal of time improved my imagery as keeping your hand in mine.A lovely no moment in the trembling dew.

The picture and poem compliment each other remarkably well, Maria...they both exude intense sensuality. Your metaphor blends with personification to help bring out similarities between two different donors of life. The footnote is worth thinking about, and is open to mature discussion. #7 Regards // paul

Thanks Anne-Lise for your big 7 rating - Indeed nature's the medicine we need to learn to appreciate and enjoy. Thank you for asking after us - We are well but there will always be drama surrounding our lives when we take on 'controversial' life giving products and having to 'Put out Fires' - successfully - in a non confronting way. It adds 'spice to life'

Oh Maria. Good Morning. Without a doubt this entry should be read out loud with emphasis. This is poetry in its entirety. What a beautiful way to start the morning. Honestly. The first two lines truly set the stage of elegance and more. They actually sing. Have a wonderful morning. Wonderful in its entirety.

Being a gardene, even of a small roof garden as mine, I can appreciate very much the beauty and the purpose of nature as well as the harmony that exists among all parts of nature but Man. A great Ode my friend, Maria. Thank you for sharing. A 7!

Thanks Emile for visiting - When one looks carefully, nature is most descriptively sensual - In fact there is an unabashed similarity to our body parts to flowers and fruits - I wonder if it is saying something?

Natures sensuality well depicted here, leading me to conclude that love is in the air, we only need to pause and take a deep breath. Wonderful writing a7

Allow me a moment to catch my breath as your poem my friend has completely taken it away. Sultry and sensual in a beautiful and mesmerizing way. You are right about nature and how she entices us with her aromatic fragrances and colorful offerings. If we only take the time to look and allow our inhibitions to fade so that we may see all that she has to offer. This poem s as much about love as it is about the beauty of nature. I am amazed.
