Seek and Ye Shall Find

I have played this game of “Hide and Seek” with God never sure who was “it”. Was it He who hid from me – or me from Him. Alas, I play the game each day – again not sure of where He is or why he hides unsure of those who say He still abides. As children do – I count with shielded eyes then seek – a hidden God they say to trust as in dismay I wander dawn to dusk. John G. Lawless ©11/19/2018

What a heartfelt piece, John. I loved the analogy of hide and seek. It does feel that way sometimes, doesn't it. Thanks for sharing your heart. God has read your poem too, and now, John the tag's on you! :)

Well, the man upstairs is known for being mysterious! Just kidding John. You have written what so many are thinking these days with so much chaos in the world. Brilliantly composted! : ) xxoo
