Chris looked stunning in her long purple dress Only family members were there to witness Nuptials between the bride and her groom Grins on happy faces were seen all around the room. Rachel and Callum’s journey had gone a little awry As clouds of gossamer snowflakes fell from the sky Their travel plans changed, but they showed determination Unswerving desire to attend the wedding celebration Loads of snow meant pre made plans had to be rearranged At last the wedding vows could finally be exchanged Thankfully Chris and Charles had a memorable Wedding Day I knew something amazing had happened the moment I saw Chris One look at her glowing face could not hide her wedded bliss! Now we are both delighted to share your wonderful news Some day we’ll see the photos of Chris in her high-heeled shoes! On 3rd March my wonderful friend Chris got married in secret in England. Her three children and their partners were the only witnesses and had been told of the wedding only 2 weeks before it took place The youngest daughter and her boyfriend took over 12 hours to get there as the area was on 'red alert' because of the snow from the 'beast from the East'. Chris had originally booked a Priory for all the family to stay in but that was snow bound so many plans had to be changed but it all worked out in the end 3/22/18

Good Morning Jan - First you did marvelously with the acrostic format which is difficult to execute. Second your words and thoughts are lovely for your friend and for such a wonderful moment in time. May there always be love for one and all. And yes, we can never count on the weather to cooperate no matter what corner of the world we are in. I'm sure your friends love this for them.

The original plans went a little awry with the weather but the main thing is all the family managed to get there in the end and they found alternative accommodation and had a wonderful time together:-) hugs jan xx

The minute I saw Chris I knew something had happened she looked so blissfully happy - we were going out of her house and she said she had something to tell me - iIsaid 'you got engaged'... then she showed me her wedding ring so I was nearly right. I know I'd not have got through the last 4 years without her constant support and friendship especially with my hubbies cancer and my father forbidding me to tell my mum:-( hugs jan xx
