Seasonal Tragedy
When autumn arrived, I had not a clue
Just a doom feeling that came out of no-where
Finally not alone, because of you
We pursued justice, you showed that you care
We were a team that could not be broken
Our strength and our drive would never have stopped
We both had our reasons to be spoken
The picture of us, could never be cropped
But, as the bitter winter air arrived
With pounding gray skies and snow all around
While our friendship turned into love that thrived,
You were killed and left me sprawled on the ground
Your grave was a comfort, tears froze in snow
How I’ve made it this long, I do not know
