Scent Of A Rose During Rain
Summertime showers:
Passion flows in streams
along its petals,
Each, like an upturned face,
real with tears;
In the air, a whiff takes
somewhere near.
Its sweetness made
For holding this wet world—
Running down into the soil;
Rising up by the storm.
All of it soaking through me—
(Carry it within)
From its smell, I feel the bloom
Unfolding, with the subtelty of a kiss.
