Hi! Anil, Hummingbird are one of my favorites. I put 4 feeders out every spring for them. When one feeder is empty, they will let you know as they will fly all around you to get your attention (very chatty) then fly back to the empty feeder. Thanks for your comment. Blessings ~ Debra

Lovely imagery! Last spring, I was in my backyard, standing under a fig tree, and a hummingbird was buzzing around my face. I thought, Well, little beauty, what have I done to you? Then other bird chatter~an assault. I looked down, and two little feathered, baby something or other, were motionless on the ground having failed at first flight. I quietly, slowly moved to the lawn-chair, on lookout for the cat.

I hope the babies survived. I put feeders out every spring. The same birds come back. I have a Ruby-throated who has been coming back to my house for the last two years. They let you know when the feeders are empty when they fly in front of you. They will get your attention. Thanks for reading and the comments. Blessings ~ Debra

Humming birds are indeed 'flying acrobats'. You have chosen the right epithet to describe it ! A cute minuscule of a poem Debra !

Beautiful verse, Debra, the hummingbird reminds me of a fairy fliting around then noticed flies away.
