Rose
Vermilion petals encompassed by chartreuse blades
saturated in dew drops from heaven’s longing abyss
nourishing each honey bee through flourishing efflorescence
embracing each moment in a scarlet splendorous blossom
elegant by nature shining as the eventide descends
delicate and tender she is graciously kind
holding a special place in my grieving heart
she brings me memories of death and love
I gently rest three at my sister's grave
