Riding Your Unicorn
By day my unicorn slept beneath my bed
At least that's what my dear old grannie said
She came to me when the stars appeared
And sometimes stayed 'till daylight neared
Off we'd go on adventures big and small
I on her back , having no fear at all
Down the rivers and through the wood
It was a dream I knew, I understood
She was a beauty, eyes so clear and blue
He mane was silken, her heart was too
She was my friend and I loved her so
Then I grew up, it was time for her to go
I will always believe in unicorns you know
They come with children's dreams in tow
Happy Birthday to PD..
may you ride your unicorn forever...
