- Rice Porridge With a Dollop of Butter -

White as snow
                               sugar sprinkle and cinnamon

                                        In the middle
                                   a yellow moon smiles

                                   One - just one almond
                                           in the pot
                                       Whoever finds it
                                    a surprise will receive

                                        Heart warming
                                       Christmas ritual

The Greeks have something similar and the English but they both call it rice pudding, the Greek one is made in a pot on the kitchen stove and the English one in the oven, both are great, maybe we have an ancestral connection! deliciously delicious my friend.
