reflection is my sanctuary, a place to savor
time while twirling tender thoughts gently
in my mind -
embracing excitement within,
and this sweet taste of love

but at this moment,
i long to r e p l a y
a familiar tune
on a vintage turntable

Each time I need to rest my mind I end up in my sanctuary and play some of my fav vinyl records (on the same original turntable I was gifted many yrs ago!) ...and then memories come alive (beautiful, emotional, melancholic, poignant...and often romantic, like this gem of yours, dear Brandy.) ~ Warm regards & hugs my friend // paul

Dear Maria, I seem to get lost in the melody, especially when evening falls. Music takes me to another time and place. It's beautiful, dreamy and romantic. Older songs seem to create a tender mood. Aw, so gentle, tranquil and beautiful! Isn't it amazing how music transports us to other times? I miss my old turntable, I loved our collection of vinals and there was something so magical about watching the needle in the grooves as the turntable gently spun, captured music and song joyfully vibrating through mega speakers :) <3

Music truly inspires me, in so many wonderful ways. I enjoy being swept away to another time and place. So surreal indeed, watching the needle move while the tune escapes.
