20 Best Self-Acceptance Quotes - Life Hayat

Most of us have heard the quote, “as a man thinketh so is he.” Thoughts therefore are a part of creation. We were created to have purpose in life. Our thoughts effect what we become here on Earth. As created, we are our authentic selves by the thoughts of the Creator. To successfully meet the ultimate challenge in life, we must align our thoughts with the thoughts of the Creator, or just acknowledge the spirit within us and accept ourselves as created. Ultimately, we are our worst enemy. Many of us think we know better than our Creator, what we are, what we want, and how we should live our lives. I was given freewill by my Creator, without his guidance, I don’t want it. I give it back and acknowledge him in all things. I’ll follow the voice of the Spirit within me, align my will with the will of God my Creator, and be who God intends for me to be.

Sage advice, Bill. And I don't mean 'sagebrush,' by the way.

If man has himself to lead the way, then most of the time the devil comes in and leads the way. God is much better choice, I believe. I enjoyed reading this spiritually based work. Thanks for sharing it with us and for dropping by my page. Sara K

I agree, Sara. Trying things my way doesn't always work out as they should. He left the Holy Spirit to guide and teach us; we just have to learn to listen and follow his lead. I always enjoy reading your fine poetry, Sara. Write on, my friend! Bill

In truth we have no free will although ego thinks it does, so you are wise to surrender imagined free will at God’s lotus feet, dear Bill. Eckhart Tolle and many other teachers have a great videos on this topic

Your thoughts may be 'random,' yet they're profound, wise, and inspirational...so much I liked about your poem and your 'ramblings.' I liked 'Thoughts therefore are a part of creation.' Thus, we are 'creative,' right? I know you strive every day as your last verse is indicative of how you live your days. Also 'acknowledge HIm in all things.' I love those words. Thanks for allowing us to be a part of your thoughts. hugs, me
