Arising from sleep A rumble of thunder In a few minutes Another rumble Long pause~ more rumbling As I blunder Making coffee Then the sound Heaven opens~ rain pours In my heart Upon my lips Thank you, God, for the rain The earth has been dry The plants have suffered Thank you Thank you And thank you again

Sounds like a lot of mornings lately; we've had a lot of rain here. Still the ground dries out fast. Well penned appreciation for the rain.

We had a lot of rain then we went around six weeks and no rain, M.L. I was so thankful when we got that rain after the dry spell. We are needing rain again, but I know God knows our needs and will supply. Thanks for all your visits. Sara

I just adore this, Sarah. Indeed, when we consider how little we are in comparison to the expanse of the sky and thunder rambles, we are overcome with a feeling of insignificance, but we are unable to pinpoint the reason for this sensation.
