Rain-Drenched Hair
The veil became a shroud - doused lips swan-blue.
Her rain-drenched hair, adrift, began to croak.
She was weighed down by the diamond-rock.
He glared into the dumb blond’s jilted eyes.
The bloated ballerina-bride — flotsam.
The mast of rain-drenched hair caught ‘round his boat.
Reunited - two souls twist stark in lake.
Alas, each one upset, the other’s kiss.
