Quiet Land
On quiet land I stood
Observing all I could
Watching birds fly by
Flirting in the sky
Then, I took my walk
Seeking words to talk
On a quiet path nearby
With each step I would try
Knowing what I was hoping to find
On my way out of feeling blind
Step by step quietly
The clouds drifted by me silently
While the sun played hide and seek
Shining hope with every peek
It would be easy to say a waste of time to try
Then, suddenly you appeared with all reasons why
I took this walk, with instincts in hand
I found my valentine standing to take my hand
My friend, my lover, forever to be
Waited for me patiently
