Promised Love
Promised love
My love it sits this slumbered eve, o’er nighttime’s calming wind,
until the dawn returns the day and brings your smile again
Neath moon beam shine of feathered glow, midst stars to run and play
I wait to greet a whispered morn, its shimmering display
When comes the time of sunrise dreams now cast amongst its glow
These words my voice shall echo true in hopes to you they flow
That here within this heart of mine affection takes its fill
of promised love I hold for you and I forever will
Good night Soupers
