Pretty Girl
You're such a pretty girl,
you've got skin that's like splenda;
Sweetener is added
every time you touch.
Some people around you
like a sugar rush.
You're such a pretty girl,
you've got skin like a swirl;
Ice-cream that is vanilla and chocolate,
mixed into a complexion of silk.
Some people around you
would want to drink you like milk.
You're such a pretty girl,
but you're skin gets deplored...
A lot of onlookers
just watch in a hush.
They don't want to be confounded
for what they see as a lust.
You're such a pretty girl,
but to some, your skin is not pleasant...
Unknowing mothers make their sons hesitant
to date girls to close to be misted in night.
All darkness brings evil
they think we shun away the light.
You're such a pretty girl,
you've got skin like the mother;
Earth that is dark and rich in its soil
to bring up all these living beings and not be foiled
to be a hopeful reminder to all passing forms
That every type of color should be loved when worn.
You're such a pretty girl,
you've got skin that is lovely,
and don't you dare let anyone think that you're ugly.
