I utter a prayer
I gasp a psalm
Soft, tender kisses
A gentle embrace
Soothing beyond description
My heart will race
Trying to catch up
With the love flowing
Through his veins
A whisper of joy
Stirring my hopes
With passion and promises
Of lights in hues of
Lavender and lilac
Underneath a tangerine
Moon glowing with truth
Bright and vibrant
Inspiration, inner beauty
A sigh of God’s light
Murmur of insight
Through a heart alive
With a sense of serenity
That stirs light in those
Who know love so sure
Love that lasts
Love that is kind, alive
Spoken of in prayers
That I Breathe into God’s ear
With him, I am myself
