Political Pie
Each day I rise,
in the free country, America.
I want to call it the USA...
"United", but we are not.
We have not been for a long time.
Some cry foul play every day.
Some work hard to create chaos.
But there are still a few,
that know,
there is no place else
to be but here.
They come from around the world,
to cross our borders to be free.
They want something we all have,
and cry about.
They want...
and we give...
The homeless line the streets.
They are not just aliens from outer space,
but citizens without food,
water, or necessities.
The veterans that fought our wars,
and the wars of others in the name of calm,
are thrown away, thrown out...
with the garbage.
Criminals do heinous crimes,
and leave Angel families in devastated condition.
Judges point at them and tell them "NO"
and then let them go,
back into the populace to kill again.
How is this okay with you?
How is this okay with me?
Do you think these people will stand
when there is a band playing...
to fight for more than they are given?
Or do you think there is a new plan,
a different agenda,
about taking everything without
a war.
They...
will just come thru the door,
opened by those that are blind
or paid well.
"Vote for me don't you see,
I can fix everything and put the world
back into place."
They say it all the time,
and lie right to our face.
Brave men, be brave
and mighty women be strong,
as the need to "be"...
is coming.
Listen for the bells,
and the angels call,
before they open
the gates...
of the fates.
