I notice when I posted here a poem The gate keeper let it be known Only five it says at a time But then others post a dime Why is the rule for some While others freely run It’s kind of not fair I paid dues to share Will I get a refund?

After reading your write, I just had to write you. I can feel your pain here. On The Submit Poem Page. "Poem Submission Form." It Now Reads "Please save poems on your computer before posting on the Soup. Please limit poems posted to 5 per 24hr period." Maybe they changed the number of poems for a day to 5 max. You can always e-mail soup/ask about it. Ask them to put something out. Hope this helps... Have a blessed Autumn day writing away...............

I think it is a glitch that allows some to post more. I will consider contacting them but really feel it is pointless. Hugs Paula and blessings!

the "algorithm" is having trouble counting on its tiny metal fingers....Karen, I once wrote thirty poems in thirty days to celebrate National Poetry Month...Just keep writing ...it's been said that WELL BEHAVED WOMEN SELDOM MAKE HISTORY....

Night before last it stopped me at five. I hadn’t tried to cross it again because my muse was being stingy and I’m betting I’d be the only one chastised!

I disagree with Tom's advice. Rule breakers aren't to be emulated but chastised. It's possible too they aren't even paying attention to the warning. Maybe admins will change the program in the future so that it is impossible to post more
