Poetry Is a Personal Thing
Poetry is a personal thing--
written less to be heard
and more to listen to;
such words outside the mass
of common echoes.
Fame we can beg
steal or borrow--
even work for;
but the dearest thing,
one’s own
unique voice,
remains often
a Silent Scream,
of edits
and trash….
