Just like equations are important in physics, poetry is important in literature. I really enjoy math and physics, and I can say that solving equations is similar to creating poetry.

thanks for your informative response, dearest Sotto. I'd never thought about the relationship between solving equations and writing poetry. I see the relationship, though. That must be why my hubby prefers poetry over narrative writing. Much to think about. I enjoy algebra, I'm not a geometry fan.
