Pure poetic licence for this poem as the beach i was walking on was extremely pebbly and i had my trainers on lol - we do have a glorious sandy beach about 5 minutes from where I live though but not many shells on it:-) hugs jan xx

Oh Jan...this is just the kind of haiku I love! It has that aha moment all try to create but many miss. Outstanding! : )

I would love to have my toes on the sandy beach and let the cool waves cool my feet and luck to find a nice size seashell. Nicely done..

Thanks Alexis we have a glorious golden beach 5 minutes from the house but this beach was at the far North of the Island is just pebbles so there was a lot of poetic licence here:-) hugs Jan xx
